Holistic Health - the Perfect Health Plan

I could eat the most nutritious and wholesome foods on the face of the earth but lay in bed all day and I would not be considered healthy.

I could workout 5 to 7 days a weeks with cardio and weight lifting but go home and eat processed, unnatural foods and drink too much alcohol and I would not be healthy.

I could eat the best foods and workout often but be overwhelmingly stressed out and unfulfilled spiritually and I would not be healthy.

I could have nutritional health, physical health, spiritual health, mental health but have no connection to the earth, to nature and to society and I would still not be considered healthy.

To have all of these aspects of our health in perfect order and "whole" would be virtually impossible because we are humans. But the more we try, the closer we get to divinity and to a higher evolution of ourselves. When we reach this higher awareness we are also improving the health of the planet.

Self-love is not selfish. The more we work on ourselves, making ourselves better as humans, we are actually making everyone better and the planet as a whole benefits from it. We are all connected in that our actions and reactions have rippling effects and eventually create the essence of the present moment that we live in. I guess that is sort of how some might come to say that time is an illusion and that all is happening at once. I can see how that makes sense. Time exists because change exists. The more we change the more time seems to move. Anyways, that's quantum physics stuff and we are not talking about that. My mind travels and wanders a lot when I am trying to put meaning and understanding to things. I suffer from the knowing the unknown, or the more I know the more I un~know.

We are everything and everything is us. We are a collective whole and that makes us the universe itself. We thrive when the planet thrives and the planet thrives when we thrive. We are not doing ourselves any favors when we pollute, use chemicals in food production, when we genetically modify foods we eat. We are destroying millions of years of natural evolution. What we put out into the environment we are also putting into ourselves. We are creating our own destruction by destroying the environment. How can we be healed and whole again when we don't heal the earth. When we respect our earth, we respect ourselves.

How do we evolve? Well we have to practice our awareness. Looking within ourselves and outside ourselves. Become more aware of our emotions, our actions, our thinking, our relationships with one another, the things we do on a daily basis. We have to recognize why we do what we do and do what is best for us and for all. You can say that you don't care what anybody else wants, but look at yourself. Are you getting the best you deserve? Somehow it is all coming back to you. What you put out into the universe is coming right back at you.

Practice awareness. Become conscious of what you eat, what you say, how you feel, how you act. Love yourself and your body. Love your friends and family. Be good and be kind. Be love.

Heal means to make whole again.

Health, whole, holistic and holy.

This subject for me is not only one subject. The more I talk about it the more it develops into many more topics that I feel I have to decipher. I guess that's my act of reasoning things out but not on a  basic level. I just feel there is a deeper meaning and something to be learned from everything.

Holistic health is everything.

“Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may yourwhole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
