So many of us have a hard time with our nutrition. Whether you're following a diet like keto or not, it's hard because food is just so damn GOOD! And our emotions and hormones play a big roll in the foods we choose and how much we eat. Our day to day activities and schedules also play a major role in what we have access to eat. So how can you be more successful and stay on track? Like with any task that seems overwhelming, it's best we break it down piece by piece. Start with choosing a goal: Weight loss, muscle gain, or maintenance. Choose a plan. If you are doing my LADY WARRIOR FITNESS programs you have access to over 75 different meal plans, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The options are practically unlimited. If you're not doing LWF meal plans, I can create one for you based on your goals and preferences and certain medical requirements. Choose the recipes you want to make for 1 week. You will have less stress and more time during the week if you choose recipes that incorporate a lot of the same ingredients and if you make A LOT ahead of time. Also super helpful and financially sweet on your pocket if you choose recipes with foods that are in season. Grocery shop! Once you have the recipes chosen, make a grocery list of everything you need and go shopping! So Friday would be a great day to choose the plan and recipes. Saturday is a great grocery shopping day so your stuff is as fresh as possible. You can even do it the day of meal prep which I recommend doing on Sunday. That way you are set up for success starting Monday!🙌✊ Meal prep. Chop, slice, dice, cook, sautee and bake. Then store everything either individually (if you are home a lot like me) or pack them as perfectly portioned meals in container boxes that you can get on Amazon with different compartments. If you got the colored containers from your LWF challenge pack that is the best way to easily measure your macros out without getting confused or a headache.
And thats it! You'll have plenty of healthy options of foods to eat for the week. It may sound like a lot but if you even just make a crockpot and a few other recipes to last until Wednesday and then prep again for the remainder of the week. You shouldn't worry if you decide to eat something outside of your plan but try to stick as close to it as possible and make the adjustments where needed. I hope this helps. If you liked this please "like" this post so I can continue to make them for you. Thanks everyone!
