Just Remember

Writer: Juliette RiesJuliette Ries

I doubt everyone feels this way but....

Do you ever watch or read something on social media and it hits a nerve with you and you just cannot stop yourself from jumping on the comments section and typing out your OPINION? How you can believe someone could do/think/say that!?

I sometimes feel compelled but then I stop and ask myself 'does it really matter that this is offensive to me?' The answer mostly will be no.

I'm not talking about not speaking up about genocide or atrocities (which leaving comments won't really change so if you really care, get out there and make a difference) Actions speak louder than words, always have.

I'm talking about letting others express themselves without feeling the need to tell them they are wrong.

No one person is going to have the answers to everything.

No one person is going to be right about everything.

No one person is going to agree on everything that you believe.

Just like with my blog. Take what you can from it. Use the information and my experiences the way you would like to. These are just my expressions of what has worked for me and not worked for me.

Take bits and pieces, take the whole thing, I don't care. But don't attack, criticize, or put down others merely for the fact that they have a different thought process than you.

We all have our own journeys, battles, scars, and parties. We know where we have been and none of us know where we are going. Just be respectful and know that not everyone or everything was created for you to be in-line with.

Have a blessed day!

And remember to be grateful and notice the wonder that is the world.
